Cause they're inconsistent. Gamepro calling R2 graphics underwhelming when the rest of sources call them great. Gametrailers being purely 360 biased, overlooking flaws in 360 titles but exploiting them in PS3 games. Seriously. Killed my hype for Killzone 2. This thing with it's multi could last me till R3...or atleast FF13. Even GamesRadar, PS3 hating bastards, gave the game a good rating!

And Megatron, LBP = 160,000 one week sales as a BROKEN STREET DATE RELEASE. Not everyone was carrying it moron, including at the time Gamestop. Even read VG's own forum posts for confirmation of that.
Resistance 2 or Gears 2 according to IGN then is based on preference. Whether it be cover system vs shoot-from-the-hip, or 360 vs PS3. I'm taking Resistance 2 for the 60 online. That's just me.

I owned this and ditched it even AFTER the patch. I hate to say it, but SOCOM is pathetic on PS3. I'd say the most accurate review thus far is Gamespot's.
I wouldn't put it past them. Hope they would write it in red. Nothing good comes in gaming when it involves the color red (especially if it's circular).

Seriously, this game may put the blinders up even on KILLZONE 2! I've got LBP and Motorstorm:PR and love em', but this game could take up my time till Insomniac's next Ratchet game next year! (or FFXIII/SO:TLH on 360)

I must say, as a gamer, I believe this whole industry fails. The media coverage is biased and pathetically short-sighted. Constant delays these days and rushed products with game-breaking glitches (SOCOM, Fable 2). It's sad these days to be a gamer.
